Artist Len Scriv is a representational painter who is working to rekindle the classical art style. He is a native of Hoboken, New Jersey and studied at the Ridgewood School of Art in New Jersey and Parsons School of Design in New York. Upon graduation, he began his career in the Advertising and Gift Wrap Industry working as a Graphic Designer, Production Manager, as well as Art Director. Scriv continued his studies in the fine arts through a string of ateliers and workshops like Studio Incamminati to sharpen his craft. He is a proud supporter of the arts community as a member of the Portrait Society of America, Philadelphia Museum of Art and Metropolitan Museum of Art. Scriv is inspired by the old masters and contemporary artists such as Nelson Shanks, Alex Venezia, and Josh LaRock. Scriv’s artwork is a creative blend between the classic art of the past and the traditions of the impressionists. This makes his body of work appeal to both traditional and modern collectors. His oil paintings set a contemplative mood leaving his viewers to think and imagine.
